Word of the day - myopic

Today's word of the day is myopic, it can be used to mean narrow minded.
But I am sure there is someone online who thinks it means a photo of someone named 'myo'

I actually am not quite the dunce I may appear to be in my writings. It is a very little known fact that I went to a very well known medical school for a year.
But after the girl attending that school dumped me I stopped going.
No, I wasn't a student or enrolled, I just enjoyed spending time with parts of the student body:)

My twisted slant on life as I get older : back when I was much younger I used to hear old people say, "You kids are all selfish it's just me, me, me".....and yet now everything seems to be all I, I, I...iPhone, iPod, iPad....... :)

Things I never understood, why is it called a 'one night stand'? Maybe it's just me but wouldn't the trajectory generally make it more of a 'one night horizontal'?

Why it pays to never get caught sleeping in class (and this IS a true story), In 7th grade my English teacher woke me from a sound sleep, and asked me if I knew what a palindrome was, to which I said, "Um yes", so she asked me to give two examples, to which I sleepily said, "Um.....I and eye"....

Only I would think of this...

I'm just wondering....if two teams of midgets played hockey, would both teams spend the whole game on a penalty kill as they'd be short handed?

Always be true to who you are. Be it in your beliefs, faith, morales or whatever you may stand for, otherwise if you don't 'stick to your guns' for such, you become a helpless target for ignorance.

The not so good effects of alcohol

One time whilst having a few drinks in a bar, my buddy walked in and announced sadly how his girlfriend had dumped him for another guy. He was all shaken up and turned to me and said, "What does he have that I don't", to which I very drunkenly yelled, "Ah forget her dude, it ain't the size of the rise it's how much ocean that you got..."

What's on my agenda

My plans for the week : 1) Buy a van, 2) Get a bumper sticker that says "If this vans a rockin' call the weather channel and tell them hell has frozen over"

I could have become a household name back in 2000 if I had gone through with legally changing my name to "Hanging Chad', but instead an old English teacher convinced me to change it to "Dangling Participle" instead. But I eventually switched back to my given name as my friend at 7-11 always greeted me with "Hello Mr. Dingledangle Particle....
