I got a voicemail this morning from a friend I worked with many years ago.
She said, "Hi Scott I see you've been getting a lot of rain back in Beaver Falls, and just wanted to call so you don't think I am a fair weather friend..."

I think I have competition when it comes to doling out friendly sarcasm:)

I had a dream last night in which I went to my Dr.s for a follow up visit.
A very beautiful new Dr. (or maybe Nurse Practitioner) said, "Mr. Williams could you please strip down", which I did.
Then she reached into her labcoat photo and took out her phone and took a few pictures.
As she ran out the front door, a nurse said, "Scott the Doctor will see you now"....

(True story & for those who stayed awake in English class) - got a call from a friend who was panic stricken as her antivirus reported she had two infections. I rushed down, updated her virus definitions, ran another scan and explained to her that it was just 2 false positives due to her anitivirus being not up to date - which you could say was a double negative...

happily never after...

(true story)..I've been trying to console a friend who is going through a divorce. This friend really has endured a lousy relationship and deserves every bit of alimony they may be entitled to. I tried to make light of the whole harrowing matter by saying that instead of feeling bad for their soon to be 'ex', or guilty about seeking such (alimony), just consider the alimony as a post 'marital aid' :)
